PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device for an automobile using a front wiper switch also as a rear wiper switch and providing wiping action of a rear wiper mechanism in addition to a front wiper mechanism by an operation of the front wiper switch. SOLUTION: When the front wiper switch 10 is operated, the front wiper mechanism 20 is driven by a driving circuit 40c via an input circuit 40a and a microcomputer 40b and it carries out wiping action, and in addition, the rear wiper mechanism 30 is also driven by a driving circuit 40d via the input circuit 40a and the microcomputer 40b and it carries out wiping action.
