PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly recognize a position of a vehicle and guide the vehicle to a vehicle washing position while reducing cost and on-site construction man- hours. SOLUTION: In the vehicle washing device 10, a vehicle detector 20 for detecting which one the vehicle 1 is in of a normal stopping position and its two fore and aft positions is installed on a vehicle washer 11, and it has a controller 18 for guiding and stopping the vehicle 1 in the vehicle washing position on the basis of a detection result of the vehicle detector 20.
