PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide projector that allows the adjustment of a projection position on a screen upward and downward, and that is stable when installed and has good housing property. SOLUTION: The slide projector 1 consists of a projector unit 10, a support unit 11, a housing cover 12 and a slide carrier 14. In use, the housing cover 12 is removed and the projector unit 10 is exposed. The projector unit 10 is turnably joined to the support unit 11, a projection lens 17, etc., is incorporated with the unit 10, and the slide carrier 14 is attached on an optical axis. A slide is loaded in the slide carrier 14. When a tilt adjustment dial 33 is turned, the projector unit 10 is turned to the support unit 11 to change the angle of elevation of the projector unit 10. The housing cover 12 is joined with the support unit 11 so as to cover the upper portion of the projector unit 10.
