摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart flame retardant characteristics to optical fiber cords used for premises wiring. SOLUTION: A resin composition containing ammonium polyphosphate compounded by 15 to 25 wt.% and melamine cyanurate blended by 20 to 30 wt.% in the total with the ammonium polyphosphate is used for the sheath 7 of the optical fiber cord.
