PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule that is manufactured at low cost and that is designed to have a practical pull-out strength. SOLUTION: A sleeve inserting hole 1a for force-fitting a plastic sleeve 11 is formed in a flange 1. In the inner circumferential surface of the sleeve inserting hole 1a, a reverse tapered part 1b in which he bore diminishes from the depth toward the entrance is formed. The ferrule can be manufactured at low cost by using the plastic sleeve 11. The smallest bore part in the reverse tapered part 1b bites in the outer circumferential surface of the force-fitted plastic sleeve 11, thereby obtaining a practical pull-out strength (220-310 N).
