PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the warping work even in the case of using long warps. SOLUTION: The warping method comprises a step to set up a plurality of sticks 5 on the upper face of a loom A, a step to reciprocate a yarn several times between either one of the folding sticks 5(5b) of the plurality of sticks 5 and a warp winding member 3 by hooking the yarn around the plurality of sticks 5 in definite order while passing the yarn through a yarn-passing hole of a heddle 4 placed between a cloth-winding member 2 and the warp winding member 3 of the loom A and a step to cut the yarn at or near the part where the yarn is hooked on the folding stick 5(5b).
