PURPOSE: A water-in-oil make-up cosmetic composition containing lecithin as an emulsifier to improve usability is provided. Therefore, the composition is excellent in skin compatibility and has excellent spreadability, adhesion force, moisturization efficacy and durability. CONSTITUTION: This emulsion type cosmetic composition comprises 0.1 to 5.0% by weight of lecithin containing phosphatidyl choline, lysophosphatidyl choline and phosphoric acid, 0.1 to 3.5% by weight of a polyglyceryl or silicon-based co-emulsifier having an HLB value of 4.0 to 6.0, 0.1 to 0.5% by weight of a cholesteryl-based stabilizer and 0.3 to 3.0% by weight of a gelling agent selected from dextrin palmitate, trihydroxy and bentone.
