METHOD FOR CORRECTING NLOS ERROR FOR WIRELESS POSITION MEASURING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for correcting an NLOS(Non Line Of Sight) error for a wireless position measuring system is provided to correct a position measuring error by an NLOS component of a radio wave in a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) communication network for improving the accuracy of the position measurement using a statistics characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A multiple path channel is estimated using a statistics characteristic of radio wave environment in which a TOA(Time Of Arrival) estimation error of an NLOS radio wave is in proportion to a delay spreading level of a radio wave(201). When estimating a TOA, it is judged whether the radio wave is in an LOS or an NLOS(202). If the radio wave is in the NLOS, a delay spreading estimation correcting value is calculated(205). The TOA is calculated(203) and a position is calculated(204).
