PURPOSE: An oil filter element for preventing environmental pollution is provided to reuse an oil filter housing by installing and separating the element from the oil filter housing, and to cut down expenses by making a disk of the broken filtering material. CONSTITUTION: An oil filter element is composed of upper and lower disks(51), a core(54), a filtering member(52) and a sealing ring(53). The disk is manufactured by applying heat and pressure to filtering material, and the sealing ring is mounted to the disk. The disk is made of filtering material broken in manufacturing the element, and the side of the disk is blocked. A hole is formed in the middle of the disk, and connected to a pipe(56) to supply oil to the engine. Expenses are reduced, and environmental pollution is prevented by replacing the element from the oil filter housing.
