PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrophotographic toner which can obtain a high quality image stable with the lapse of time even by using the electrophotographic image forming device of an oil-less fixing system having a recycle mechanism for returning the recovered toner from a cleaning part to a developing part by using a screw coil, is which heat stress to developer and mechanical stress at a developing part and a toner recycle process are significant, and to provide an image forming method using the toner. SOLUTION: This toner is used for the electrophotographic image forming device of the oil-less fixing system, which uses two-component developer consisting of the toner, in which wax is dispersed, and carrier, has the recycle mechanism to return the recovered toner from the cleaning part to the developing part, and uses the screw coil as a feeding means of the recovered toner. The electrophotographic toner is characterized in that the volume average grain size of the toner is defined as 5-10 μm and the ratio of the particles of the grain size of <=5 μm is defined as 60-80 number %. |
