PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a heat exchanger of such a type as a winding tube is wound around a core tube compactly at a low cost. SOLUTION: After a winding tube 2 is wound spirally around the outer circumference of a plurality of core tubes 1, 1 of a specified length, these core tubes 1, 1 are connected while being arranged in parallel through U-shaped connecting tubes 4, 4 to constitute a series of water passages W and the winding tubes 2 are connected through a joint 2a to constitute a series of refrigerant passages K.
