PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kinetic pressure gas bearing device improved in reliabil ity thereof without generating a seizure due to the friction between a shaft and a hub even if foreign matters intrude between the shaft and the hub. SOLUTION: The inside of a shaft main body 2a is provided with a space 13, and a communication hole 12 for communicating the space 13 with an inner peripheral surface 11 of a through bearing plate 5 is provided to prevent the deposition of the foreign matters in a pressure increase part of a kinetic pressure generating groove 2f and improve reliability of the kinetic pressure gas bearing device.
