PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anionic electrodeposition coating material which is easy to control the line, and particularly excels in weatherability and mar resistance, and its electrodeposition coating method. SOLUTION: The anionic matte color electrodeposition coating material comprises (A) a vinyl copolymer which is composed of >=70% by wt.% monomers constituted of anα,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer with no hydrogen atom at theα-position and has a carboxyl group, a hydroxyl group, and a crosslinking functional group in the side chain, (B) an amino resin, and (C) titanium oxide, and its electrodeposition coating method is disclosed.
