A taper piece having a good operability, a thread fastening construction using a taper piece with a female thread, a formed drill for processing an insertion hole for the taper piece, and a hammer for driving of the taper top. A taper piece (1) of the invention comprises a tapered portion (101), an external surface of which is frustum-shaped, a flange portion (102) formed on the terminal end of an enlarged side of the tapered portion (101) to extend beyond the tapered portion (101) and having a flat surface perpendicular to an axial direction of the tapered portion (101), and a female thread (104) constituting an extension extending in the axial direction of the tapered position (101). The taper piece (1) is driven into a hole (3), of which a hole tapered portion (301) and a hole stepped portion (302) are worked at a time, to make a member being clamped in a thread fastening construction.
