Glass melting furnace, made up of a melting chamber with an outlet mouth, a combustion gas recuperation chamber and a burner system, has at least one temperature sensor plunged into the molten glass in a position determined by relationships between height and length within the melting chamber, which approximates to: (a) a height (h2) with respect to the bottom of the melting chamber of 1/3 to 1/5 of the height (h) of the level of the mass of molten glass such that 1/5h ≤ h2 ≤ 1/3h; (b) in the longitudinal axis of the melting chamber, a distance (l1) with respect to the wall of the melting chamber opposite the outlet mouth of 0.6 to 0.85 % of the length )l) of the melting chamber such that 0.6l ≤ l1 ≤ 0.85l. The furnace also incorporates a calculation device, using the data from the molten glass temperature sensor(s) and gas temperature sensor(s), to derive the temperatures of the liquid mass and the gas as a function of time.
|
