RADIOACTIVE PHARMACEUTICAL FOR DIAGNOSIS OF KIDNEY FUNCTION CONTAINING TC-99M TRICARBONYL CYSTEIN OR DERIVATIVES THEREOF

PURPOSE: A radioactive pharmaceutical containing technetium-99m tricarbonyl cystein or a derivative thereof is provided which can be effectively used in diagnosis of renal activity, in particular, normal activity of an active discharge mechanism of renal tubule. CONSTITUTION: The radioactive pharmaceutical contains technetium-99m tricarbonyl cystein or a derivative thereof. The derivative thereof is technetium-99m tricarbonyl cystein methylester and can be non-orally administered in a concentration of 0.1 to 100mM in practical clinical therapeutic application. But 1.0 to 10mg/ml cystein or a derivative is preferably labelled on a precursor of 1.0 mCi/ml technetium-99m tricarbonyl cystein and a derivative thereof before use.
