GRANULE OF PARAHYDROXYBENZOIC ACID OR PARAHYDROXYBENZOIC ESTER AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

Granules of parahydroxybenzoic acid or a parahydroxybenzoic ester which are extremely inhibited from flying off or caking; and a process for producing t he granules. The granules of parahydroxybenzoic acid or an ester thereof have a n average particle diameter of 150 .mu.m or larger and a hardness of 10 to 3,0 00 g. The process comprises compacting a dry powder of parahydroxybenzoic acid or an ester thereof to form a molding, crushing the molding, and classifying th e resultant particles.
