PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a production cost in a mold for molding a resin short pipe with a spiral guide passage constituting a pipe with the spiral guide passage and a molding method using the mold by uniformizing the thickness dimension of the short pipe main body over the axial direction thereof not only to sufficiently ensure the allowable water amount of the pipe with the spiral guide passage but also to reduce the weight of the short pipe with the spiral guide passage. SOLUTION: The outer peripheral surface 251 of an inner mold 22 for forming the inner surface of the short pipe main body 11 is covered with a coating layer member 26 having flexibility and, at the time of mold opening, only the mold main body part 25 made of a metal is demolded so as to leave the coating layer member 26, thereafter, the coating layer member 26 is peeled from the inner surface of the short pipe main body 11.
