SOLUTION: The attractant poison bait for controlling insect pests characteristically includes a branched dextrin, for example, British gum or yellow dextrin. In another embodiment, the attractant poison bait includes a 14-31C higher alcohol or a high water-absorbing resin-added branched dextrin.
