摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drilling positioning control method and a drilling method for an overhead traveling type vertical hole rock drill for drilling a base rock in a pneumatic caisson construction method enabling one operator or a small number of operators to operate a plurality of overhead traveling type vertical hole rock drills for drilling. SOLUTION: A position detecting sensor is mounted to each driving part of the self-advancing overhead traveling type vertical hole rock drill 20, and the set value of a predetermined blasting pattern provided at the ground (base rock) 70 in a workroom of a caisson 1, and the actual position of the self- advancing overhead traveling type vertical hole rock drill 20 are relatively computed to carry out position control of outputting until the actual position of the overhead traveling type vertical hole rock drill 20 reaches the set value. The overhead traveling type vertical hole rock drill 20 is thereby operated automatically into the prescribed drilling position of the ground 70 in the workroom.
