PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for manufacturing a taken-up roll by taking up a web, capable of preventing the generation of loosening on a winding end part of the taken-up roll. SOLUTION: In this winding end processing method for the taken-up roll by adhering and fixing the winding end part of the web to the taken-up roll 20 to prevent the loosening, when the taken-up roll 20 is manufactured by taking up the web 8 on a roll, attaching an adhesive member 21 to the web 8, and cutting the web 8 at an upstream side with respect to the adhesive part in a condition that at least a part of the adhesive member 21 is adhered to the web 8 and the taken-up roll 20.
