PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To affix an entire back side of a label to a work without wrinkles or bubbles contained therein. SOLUTION: A label sheet 4 wound around a feed reel 5 is wound around a winding reel 6 via a label sheet peeling means 13, a label R is peeled from a base sheet B by the label sheet peeling means 13 and a suction head 14, the position and the attitude of the label R are detected by a sensor 26, the position and the attitude are corrected, the label R is transferred to the upper position of a work W held by a work positioning and holding part 20a of a turntable 19, a press roller 21 is lowered and moved in the advancing direction, and the label R is affixed while being pressed against the work W successively from a back end side to a front end side.
