PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a saw blade of a strong stiffness at a low cost to solve the problem that since the saw blade is formed thin, has a low stiffness; since especially a part near a handle is narrow in a width, it is bent largely in use; in order to conquer such a defect, a thickness of a part near the handle of the saw blade is increased and it is gradually thinned as goes to a tip; and a cost for changing gradually the thickness of the saw blade mounts up to in crease considerably high a cost of the saw. SOLUTION: A reinforcing plate 2 for reinforcing a part in front of a shank part 3 of the saw blade is fixed to the saw blade and the reinforcing plate 2 has a part 6 tapered to the end.
