PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide table reciprocating device which can be miniaturized while satisfying the rigidity. SOLUTION: This slide table reciprocating device comprises a rail 16 of quadrilateral frame shape having two side frame pieces 16a parallel to each other and two end frame pieces 16b at both ends of the side frame pieces 16a, a slide table 15 which is disposed on a face side of the frame body and slidably guided by a guide part 16c provided on an outer surface of each side frame piece 16b, a feed screw 14 which is disposed inside the frame body with both ends rotatably supported by the end frame pieces 16b, a nut provided on the slide table 15 and coupled to the feed screw 14, and an electric motor 11 which is mounted on the frame body to drive the feed screw 14. Since a feed mechanism can be accommodated inside the rail 16, the slide table reciprocating device can be miniaturized.
