PURPOSE: A multi air conditioner is provided to easily separate and join an outdoor unit, an indoor unit and a refrigerant pipe. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a compressor(52) installed in an outdoor unit to compress refrigerant to be of high temperature and pressure; an outdoor heat exchanger(54) connected with the compressor to make refrigerant exchange heat with outside air; an expansion valve(56) connected to the outdoor heat exchanger to reduce pressure of refrigerant; an accumulator(58) installed between the expansion valve and the compressor so that refrigerant transfer heat with working fluid outside of the outdoor unit; indoor heat exchangers(62,72) installed in a plurality of indoor units(60,70) to make refrigerant circulating therein exchange heat with indoor air introduced by indoor air blowing devices(64,74); and a heat pipe(80) installed between the accumulator and the indoor heat exchangers so that refrigerant circulated in the accumulator and each of the indoor heat exchangers is not mixed and indirectly transfers heat. |
