RECORDER, ITS CONTROL METHOD, PROGRAM AND RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and compact recorder which can reduce power consumption when information is recorded by light to a reversible thermal recording paper. SOLUTION: The recorder 1 is provided which has a first irradiation part 3 for irradiating a first light W1 modulated by data to a medium 2, and a second irradiation part 4 for irradiating a second light W2 from an angle different from an angle of the first irradiation part 3 to the medium 2. When information is to be recorded to the medium 2, it becomes possible to use both the first and the second irradiation parts 3 and 4, so that the efficiency for utilizing the light is improved. When information is to be erased, the information can be erased by using the second irradiation part 4.
