<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having property combination of improved chemical resistance, improved heat resistance, high hardness, low liquid permeation properties, and good mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: The fluoroelastomer composition comprises (A) a fluoroelastomer matrix and (B) a semicrystalline fluoropolymer in an amount of higher than 40 wt.% and up to 90 wt.% based on the total of (A) and (B), where the fluoropolymer (B) is incorporated into the fluoroelastomer (A), the fluoroelastomer (B) being composed of a tetrafluoroethylene(TFE) homopolymer or a TFE copolymer with at least one monomer containing at least one ethylenic unsaturation, and the average size of the semicrystalline fluoropolymer particles is 10-100 nm, preferably 10-60 nm.</p> |
