COMPOSITE WHEEL ASSEMBLY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite wheel for a car which can provide appearance having continuous luster over entire outer surface of a wheel by piling up a trim ring and a wheel cover. SOLUTION: This composite wheel assembly 10 is provided with a trim ring 50 fixed on a wheel 20, a covering material 60 and a hub cap 80. The wheel 20 has a disk 24 and a rim flange 34 which surrounds the disk 24. The disk 24 and the rim flange 34 become the outer surface of the wheel 20. The trim ring 50 is fixed on the rim flange 34. The trim ring 50 is positioned in the diametric direction against the rim flange 34 and extends inside the diameter direction to the disk 24. The covering material 60 is fixed on the disk 24. The covering material 60 is positioned in the diameter direction against the disk 24 and extends outside the diameter direction to the rim flange 34. The covering material 60 and the trim ring 50 are piled up and the appearance having the continuous luster expands on the outer surface of the composite wheel assembly 10. Any change of the dimension in the diametric direction of the trim ring 50 and the covering material 60 is corrected by piling up them.
