PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize reproducibility for a repetition position when a protruded upper cell part reciprocates vertically under the condition where a recessed lower cell part is fixed, and to allow optical characteristics of a colored liquid and the like to be measured highly reliably. SOLUTION: This liquid color measuring instrument provided with a film forming mechanism is constituted of a drive plate comprising the first holding member for holding the protruded transparent upper cell part 1a in the central part, the second holding member having the recessed transparent lower cell part 2a combined with the protruded transparent upper cell part, and a housing member 3c for holding the second holding member and having an inlet and outlet for injecting or discharging the colored liquid, movable along a depth direction in the recessed lower cell part, and connected to the upper cell part, and a clearance for generating a thin film is formed between a bottom face of the recessed transparent lower cell part and the a tip face of the protruded transparent upper cell part, after the colored liquid is injected.
