PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing force distribution of a blade rubber corresponding to a multiplicity of glass surfaces with different curvatures by setting of a few types of backing members. SOLUTION: In the wiper blade 10, a first backing member 32 and a second backing member 34 are respectively inserted and held in holding grooves 28 and 30 provided on a holding part 24 of the wiper rubber 12. The first backing member 32 and the second backing member 34 elastically deform pressing force from the wiper arm and distribute it in a longitudinal direction of the blade rubber 12. By suitably selecting and combining the first backing member 32 and the second backing member 34 from a plurality of backing members with respectively different longitudinal curvatures, a pressing force distribution substantially uniform in a longitudinal direction of the wiper blade 10 can be provided to the multiplicity of glass surfaces with respectively different curvatures.
