PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist grip structure having not only the grip function but also the function as an accommodation pocket, excellent in appearance design, and capable of reducing the damaging degree to the head in a collision. SOLUTION: In the assist grip structure installed on a slide rail 6 above an occupant seat S, an assist grip body 2 having an at least L-shaped grip part 5 is installed along a roof trim surface 1 added to an inner surface, and is used not only for the assist grip, but also used for the accommodation pocket, and an accommodation space can be ensured without installing any special parts. In addition, the assist grip body 2 installed along the roof trim 1 surface is excellent in the appearance design, and capable of reducing the damaging degree to the head of the occupant in the collision.
