PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for in particular cleaning a dry offset plate capable of cleaning the dry offset plate without damaging a non-printing region. SOLUTION: The apparatus for cleaning the dry offset plate has a drivable cleaning roller 3 supported so as to be capable of being parallelly pressed to the overcoat surface of the dry offset plate 1. The cleaning roller 3 is supported so as to be made rotatable respectively on a drive side and an operator side by roller bearings 6.1 and 6.2. The roller bearings 6.1 and 6.2 can be moved toward the plate 1 by an air cylinder 7 through a toggle link 9.1. This movement can be individually regulated on the drive side and the operator side.
