PURPOSE: A convex-concave band for the protection of a pole, in which an iron core is embedded, is provided to prevent the attachment of illegal advertisement sheets onto the pole. CONSTITUTION: The band(10) which serves to protect a pole such as a telegraph pole comprises a convex-concave surface, both overlapping ends provided on the both side ends of the band to face each other, inclined fixing ends provided along the distal edge of the band, and an inner iron core embedded in the band such a fashion that the both ends of the core are fixed in a spiral form by a clamping band(20).
