PURPOSE: A carrier having a caterpillar for the movement on a stairway is provided to easily move up and down a carrier on a stair and to easily install and remove the carrier by simple operation. CONSTITUTION: A carrier comprises a hand carrier body for loading articles, a handle for pulling the hand carrier body with a hand, carriage wheels fixed on both lower corners of the hand carrier body, and a pair of caterpillars installed in the recesses formed on the bottom face of the hand carrier body and taken out for the usage on a stair. When the carrier is used on the level ground, the wheels are used. When the carrier is used on the stair, the caterpillars are used.
