PURPOSE: A health supplementary food product obtained by extracting several medicinal plants in water and then making into the shape of a pill is provided which aids the treatment and prevention of diabetes while reducing the blood sugar level in the body. CONSTITUTION: Several medicinal plants containing 200g Rubia cordifolia L., 300g Rehmanniae Radix, 300g Zingiberis Rhizoma Crudus, 200g Corni Fructus, 200g Dioscoreae Rhizoma, 150g Moutan Cortex Radicis, 200g Liriopis Tuber, 250g Radix Trichosanthis, 150g Alismatis Rhizoma, 200g Hoelen, 200g Cortex Phellodendri, 150g Chrysanthemi Flos, 200g Lycii Fructus, 200g Lycii Radicis Cortex, 200g Mori Cortex Radicis, 200g Coptidis Rhizoma, 200g Mume Fructus, 250g Astragali Radix, 250g Sojae Semen and 200g silkworm powder are ground, mixed with beef soup and made into a pill.
