PURPOSE: A heat-absorbing thermoplastic polymer composition, its preparation method and a molded product containing the composition are provided, which composition shows an excellent transparency, a favorable gloss and a low tendency to yellowing even after the prolonged exposure to the thermal stress and the sunlight. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic polymer composition comprises a transparent thermoplastic resin; 0.001-0.05 wt% of an organic infrared ray absorber; 0.01-0.2 wt% of a phosphine compound; and optionally 0.2-10 wt% of an UV ray absorber. Preferably the phosphine compound is triphenylphosphine or its derivatives; the resin is (co)polycarbonate; and the UV ray absorber is selected from the group consisting of benzotriazole, triazine, benzophenone and arylated cyanoacrylate. The method comprises the steps of melting the resin in an extruder; and mixing the molten resin with organic infrared ray absorber and the phosphine compound.
