<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of identifying an owner based on a license number. SOLUTION: As a control circuit detects a number search command from a remote control, a number input screen 40 to demand for input of a designation number on a number plate is displayed in a display by it. As the designation number is inputted by a user, and when a search button 46 being touched is detected, vehicle number information corresponding to the inputted designation number is read from a recording medium in a map data inputting device to be extracted, and the extracted vehicle number information is displayed in an applicable number list display screen 50. As the number list display part 52 being touched is detected, spot information corresponding to the vehicle number information displayed at a touched position is obtained through the map data inputting device. Based on the spot information, a map 62 around a registered place of an owner, and a mark 64 to indicate the registered place of the owner are displayed with a spot information display part 66 including the name, address, and telephone number of the owner.</p> |
