PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulator which can solve such a problem that, when a means used for inverting and controlling the flowing direction of the air blown out from a crossflow fan is constituted to rotate the whole body of a guider, the size of the main body of the circulator becomes extremely larger due to a driving mechanism required for moving the guider, and, when guide vanes made of a temperature sensitive material, such as the shape memory alloy, etc., are used, an unintended change occurs in the air flow by a temperature change. SOLUTION: The circulator is provided with the crossflow fan 2 in which a plurality of blades 1 is provided so that the camber lines of the blades 1 may become almost coincident with the radial direction of the fan 2 and which can be rotated normally and reversely. In addition, an air supply path 5 is constituted by symmetrically arranging a stabilizer 3 and a rear casing 4 with respect to a line which connects the tongue section 3a of the stabilizer 3 to the center of the fan 2 or its vicinity. Consequently, the flowing direction of the air blown out from the fan 2 can be inverted by inverting the rotating direction of the fan 2 to the normal direction or reverse direction. |
