MOLDED ARTICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded article and a manufacturing method thereof which can reduce suitably the disconnection of a wire rod due to a difference in a change in dimensions occurring when the wire rod and the molded article are molded and when the molded article is used. SOLUTION: First, antenna wires 20a and 21a formed to be helical beforehand are engaged with projecting threads 15 formed beforehand at prescribed positions in a base layer 12. The base layer 12 and a skin layer 14 are disposed subsequently in a cavity formed by closing a fixed half and a movable half and these are closed. Then, a polyurethane is injected into the cavity to mold a foamed layer 13 by foaming and thus an instrument panel constituted of the base layer 12, the foamed layer 13 and the skin layer 14 molded integrally is formed.
