PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent forming of deposits in an injection port to improve durability and relability, by providing a heat insulating member on a tip side of a pintle facing a combustion chamber. SOLUTION: In a valve casing 2, a valve element 10 opened/closed by a solenoid coil 19 is disposed. The valve element 10 is constituted of such as a valve stem 11, a suction part 12, a valve part 13, and the pintle 20. The pintle 20 is constituted of a bar-like shaft part 21 and a cone enlarged diameter part 22 for spreading, in a diameter direction, fuel injected from the injection port 9C, and a heat insulating coating 23 made of ceramics material is formed on a front cone face 22B of the cone enlarged diameter part 22. This prevents heat in the combustion chamber 29 of an engine from being transmitted from the tip side of the pintle 20 to the shaft part 21 to prevent forming of the deposits in the injection port 9C, and a direct injection type engine can be easily designed.
