PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a bicycle suitable for miniaturization without enlarging the height of a guide part (or the height ratio of a guide part is large) even when the lock lever advance and retreat opening of a base member is enlarged in the locking device for the bicycle having the insertion recess part of a wheel, supporting a lock lever comprising imperfect circular ring on the base member fixed upward of the wheel and moving the edge lock part of the lock lever to a locking position advanced in the wheel of the bicycle and an unlocking position retreated from the inside of the wheel. SOLUTION: The locking device for the bicycle is formed of a guide flat face plate part of the lock lever in which the edge lock part forms at least one lock lever guide part of a prior lock lever guide part passed first and a posterior lock lever guide part passed next on the base member when the lock lever is moved from the unlocking position to the locking position, cutting and raising pieces formed by cutting and raising a part facing the insertion recess part of the guide flat face plate part, a turning-up folding part for turning up the edge part of the cutting and raising pieces upward of the guide flat face plate part, and a lock lever advance and retreat opening formed on the cutting and raising pieces.
