PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and automatically remove the bright-lines generated at the joints between plural projection screens of a multidisplay device. SOLUTION: In the multidisplay device which superposes the projected images of the plural adjacent projectors 15a and 15b on each other and displays the images on a screen 2, patterns 32a and 32b for regulation have a black display section and consist of a white display section on the inner side are displayed along the image boundary region, a dark line 42 is displayed in the segment where the images overlap, like a video 4b of the projection screen, the change in the width of the dark line 42 is detected by detecting the boundary between the white display section and the black display section while gradually reducing the width of the black display section, the annihilation position of the dark line 4 is stored as a boundary position into a coordinate value storage memory 69 after the regulation of a processing circuit 601 and the display output screen is so regulated as to mach the contours of the projected images projected from the individual projectors 15a and 15b with this boundary position.
