PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the smoothness of the surface of an optical fiber cord having a sheath made of a non-halogen flame retardant resin composition and to prevent the cords from tangling during wiring work. SOLUTION: The fiber cord is specified in such a manner that when the optical fiber cord 4 is knotted to produce a ring with 10 cm diameter and pulled by the both ends of the cord 4, the tension is <=100 gf.
