PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation type transfer apparatus capable of reducing the number of carriers by making effective use of a transfer space. SOLUTION: This rotation type transfer apparatus 1 is provided with a multi-stage transfer table 2 including at least a upper-stage transfer table 4 and a lower-stage transfer table 5 as its elements. An automated guided vehicle 1 performing parts supply work and empty box collecting work in an automation line 200 is disposed in parallel to the multi-stage transfer table 2. There is also provided a lifting transfer table 3 liftable for exchanging parts and empty boxes between the upper and lower-stage transfer tables 4, 5 of the multi-stage transfer table 2.
