PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent Japanese paper-like color copying paper, on which clear colors can be printed by ink jetting, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This ink jet paper is non-bleed, has a Japanese paper-like appearance and consists of a supporting layer and a surface layer. The supporting layer has a Japanese paper-like touch through the mainly mixing with longer fiber pulps. In the surface layer, mainly the culm pulps of grasses are blended so as to stop bleeding and control the absorption of ink through their proper sizing, resulting in realizing fine and excellent color representation. By employing a multiply paper making machine, an easily mass-producible method by a simple operation is provided. |
