PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the responsiveness in unlocking a steering wheel locking device to a maximum while preventing wrong operation by mistakenly depressing an operation button of a remotely-controlled transmitter. SOLUTION: A lock control means for controlling an actuator for locking and unlocking the steering wheel locking device of a vehicle by a remotely- controlled transmitter capable of transmitting the starting code and the ID code by operating the operation button is provided, and the power is saved by intermittently supplying the waiting current to the lock control means while locking the steering wheel locking device. The remotely-controlled transmitter transmits the starting code immediately when the operation button is depressed, and transmits the ID code if the operation button is continuously depressed when the transmission of the starting code is completed. The steering wheel locking device is not unlocked only by instantaneously depressing the operation button, and the starting code is transmitted immediately when the operation button is depressed. Thus, the response time before the steering wheel locking device is unlocked after the operation button is depressed is shortened. |
