PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology about a linear light guiding body by which brightness balance is easily and highly accurately adjusted. SOLUTION: Ridgelines 12ca, 12da and talwegs 12cb, 12db extending along a direction which cross a light incidence direction are formed on the reflection plane of a linear light guiding body 12 having an incident plane 12a to introduce light, a light-emitting plane 12e to emit the light introduced from the incident plane, and reflection planes 12c, 12d to reflect the light introduced from the incident plane in a light-emitting plane direction. Thereby, the ridgelines and talwegs extending along the direction which cross the introduced light incidence direction can be formed on the plane which has not functioned in a conventional linear light transmission body, and the plane functions as a reflection plane to reflect light in the light-emitting plane direction. Accordingly, an emission light quantity emitted from the linear light transmission body can be increased by adding a reflected light quantity from this new reflection plane and a reflected light quantity from a conventional reflection plane. |
