METHOD FOR RECYCLING PLASTIC AS RESOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which makes it possible to simply recycle plastics as resources. SOLUTION: A functional powder is heated, and the heated powder is brought into contact with plastic pieces to decompose the plastic to form a gas. Examples of the functional powders used include one whose aqueous solution exhibits alkalinity, and a photocatalytic powder.
