PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the tack of a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. SOLUTION: A handle part 7B is provided at one end of a square pillar part 7A having a polygonal cross section as the jig, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 1 is relatively moved while being contacted on the square portion of the square pillar part 7A to reduce the smoothness in the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 1. According to such a pressure-sensitive tape 1, the smoothness of at least part of the pressure- sensitive adhesive surface is reduced compared with the pressure-sensitive adhesive surface of the other part, and thus the tack in that part is reduced, and even when the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape 1 is peeled from the adherend, no damage is caused to the adhered surface and, in addition, the pressure- sensitive adhesive tape 1 can be easily peeled.
