PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core wire feeder capable of easily carrying a core wire bobbin to a core wire feeding position and smoothly feeding the core wire without any disconnection even in the core wire bobbin whose core wire is inferiorly wound and dropped off. SOLUTION: The core wire bobbin 6 is installed in a pipe 16 and the core wire bobbin 6 is carried to the core wire feeding position by a carriage 18 with its laid in a lateral attitude. A slider 17 is vertically moved, the center of the core wire bobbin 6 is fitted to a wire guide 11 of a cylindrical guide 12, and the carriage 18 is fixed so as not to move. A wire rod W is thus fed through the wire guide 11 along the inside of the cylindrical guide 12.
